Curling 101 is an initiation to curling program that focusses on the basics of curling in an atmosphere of camaraderie and fun. The course delivered by Lachine Curling Club is based on Curling Canada's program.
The program is held twice per season (Fall & Winter). There are 6 classes of 2 hours each, for a total of 12 hours. The classes will be held on Sundays, from 3:45PM to 5:45PM. The course is designed for people that have never curled before with an interest in being initiated to the sport. The course is run by certified instructors. All the required equipment is made available. All you need is a pair of sneakers with clean soles.
Each session starts with a 20-minute presentation (theory), followed by approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes of on-ice time for practice and exercises.

Curling 201 Is a new program created by and for LCC members who are hoping to bring their knowledge of the game to the NEXT LEVEL!
The program is held twice per season (Fall & Winter). There are 6 classes of 2 hours each, for a total of 12 hours. The classes will be held on Sundays, from 5:30PM to 7:30PM. The course is designed for LCC members who have played the game and are comfortable with the basics, but wish to elevate their game and knowledge of the sport to a more intermediate level.
Each session starts with a short off-ice theory presentation, followed by on-ice time for drills, practice and efficient technical execution.

Lachine curlers unite for the 2nd club tournament of the season! This fun week-long event highlights the Scottish roots of this sport and is open to all club members and Saturday Social curlers.
Supper after the finals features a piper, a reading of Robert Burns’ Address to a Haggis, awards presentation, fish and chips from Brit ‘n’ Chips, haggis, Scottish meat pies, and a selection of desserts from Muir’s Scottish bakery in Maxville. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
Individual registration. Day and evening divisions. 3 games guaranteed. Conveners create teams and schedule.
Guests and our social members are welcome to come cheer us on and join the supper ($25pp)!
