L'Oeuvre Soupe Maison
On Sunday, April 27 at the Lachine Curling Club, a fundraising campaign will be held for the benefit of L'ŒUVRE SOUPE MAISON (Lachine), which will highlight its 40 years history.
L'ŒUVRE SOUPE MAISON (Lachine) is located at 1170 Notre-Dame Street. The primary mission is to provide food to Lachine residents in precarious financial conditions. Volunteers cook soups and meals that are given to the beneficiaries every Thursday morning from September to June. Each beneficiary receives 3 to 4 full meals free of charge, in addition to being able to visit the thrift store. A grocery bag containing non-perishable food items is given once a month.
All donations received (money, food, thrift store) are directly used for the well-being of the beneficiaries.
On the program:
- 10:00 to 12:00 Learn to curl with instructor
- 11:30 to 13:00 Dinner – Grilled Cheese and Salads
- 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Curling Skills Competition
- 15:00 to 17:00 Curling games
- 17:00 to 18:00 Cocktails
- 18:00 to 19:30 Dinner
- 19:30 to 22:00 Music, dance and skating (Don't forget your skates!)
Rates - payable by cash, cheque or bank transfer on the same day.
- $60 - Curling Day & Dinner
- $20 - Curling only
- $50 - Dinner only
- $15 - Lunch
